Job Summary

Covering boilers, pipes, tanks, and refrigeration units with insulating materials is a crucial task in our industry. As an Insulation Technician, you will be responsible for reducing heat loss and preventing moisture condensation using materials such as fiberglass, cord, plastic, and magnesia. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job specifications, and blueprints.
  • Identify and use the correct hand tools and power tools for the job.
  • Recognize various materials used in the craft and demonstrate safe handling techniques.
  • Select and safely use appropriate equipment for the task.

Requirements
  • Mathematics skills to solve problems and interpret specifications.
  • Ability to use whole numbers, fractions, and decimals to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Installation skills to meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
