Outpatient Clinician

Goochland Powhatan Community Services Board is seeking a skilled Outpatient Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide integrated behavioral health services to individuals and their support systems.

• Provide evaluation and assessment of needs, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy.
• Offer psychoeducation and psychotherapy groups, as well as care coordination.
• Work in a variety of settings, including an outpatient clinic and via telehealth.
• Carry a diverse caseload, working with individuals of varying ages, abilities, needs, and mental health/substance use disorder presentations.

• Master's degree in a Human Services field, such as social work or counseling.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and substance use disorders.
• Experience working with children, preferably.
• Thorough working knowledge of the DSM criteria.
• Experience working with persons with severe mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and co-occurring disorders.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Computer skills, including use of an electronic health record.
• Experience with group psychotherapy, preferably.

A competitive salary, commensurate with education and experience, starting at $63,000 for license-eligible candidates and $70,000 for licensed professionals. Supervision can be provided towards LCSW, LPC, and Registered Play Therapist accreditation.
