Trauma Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Registrar to join our team at Kaweah Health. As a Trauma Registrar, you will play a critical role in the compilation and abstraction of data for the trauma registry, ensuring compliance with state and national guidelines.

• Abstract and enter data into the trauma registry database for patients treated in the trauma program
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the registry database, including installing updates from the software vendor
• Download registry data to the state agency within 60 days of patient discharge or per state rules
• Assist with quality assessment of patient care for all identified program service patients
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to review all aspects of care per the program service PI

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• ICD-10 coding certificate
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems
