Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Metalico, a leading full-service scrap metal recycler in the Northeastern United States. As a key member of our trucking maintenance department, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing all on-road equipment.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gas engines.
• Diagnose and repair semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Conduct brake adjustments and tire changes on all equipment.

• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Must have own tools and knowledge of diagnostic software.

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes life insurance, medical and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
