Position Summary:
The School of Kinesiology at Auburn University is seeking to appoint three tenure-track faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, specializing in Physical Therapy. The ideal candidates will possess expertise in areas such as Anatomy, Cardiorespiratory Health, Acute Care, Pelvic Health, Pediatrics, and Neurology. These roles are integral to the establishment of a new Physical Therapy Program aimed at training a diverse cohort of physical therapists committed to serving rural and underserved communities.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Conduct impactful research leading to publications in reputable academic journals.
- Teach courses within the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum.

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the program's curriculum.
- Engage in service activities that support the department and the broader academic community.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., PhD, EdD, DSc).
- Eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the United States.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching and research in Physical Therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-doctoral experience or additional training.
- History of securing research funding.
- Experience in teaching within a Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
