About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Operator to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely production of cables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor extrusion lines to ensure quality and timely production of cables.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure cables meet quality specifications.
  • Operate testing equipment, including calipers and OD tape.
  • Meet daily output and quality requirements.
  • Communicate with supervisors on daily production goals.
  • Report production shortfalls, quality nonconformances, and equipment issues.
  • Perform machine startups and changeovers as required.
  • Load and unload materials as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 12 months manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read metric rulers and other measuring devices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized applications.
