Job Summary:

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Valet Attendant to join our Guest Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their vehicles are parked and retrieved safely and efficiently, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our parking areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering professional valet services and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Accommodate guests by opening doors, assisting with luggage or heavy items, and providing directions to various areas of the resort.
  • Direct traffic in the parking area as needed, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicles.
  • Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, resort amenities, and available services, providing personalized recommendations and assistance.
  • Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests, ensuring their proper return and maintaining the security of our parking areas.
  • Park guests' vehicles in designated areas, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Organize and file paperwork related to guests' vehicles and daily transactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with resort policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to use computer software, including Microsoft Office products and property management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
