Job Summary

Napa County, CA is seeking a skilled Urban Planner to join our team in the Planning, Building, and Environmental Services Department. As an Urban Planner, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health, safety, and sustainability of Napa County by providing a range of development services while balancing agricultural, environmental, and economic vitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, process, and present reports on current and advanced land use planning
- Research findings and agenda items, and disseminate information to the public
- Provide assistance to the public and developers on complex matters
- Perform business process analysis and oversee interdepartmental permitting coordination

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in city, regional, land use, or environmental planning, or a related field
- Two years of experience providing planning information to the public and processing administrative permits
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License
