Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Current DEA License or to be obtained upon hiring
  • Active Veterinary State License
  • USDA Accreditation or to be obtained upon hiring

Special Working Conditions:

Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for extended periods. Must be comfortable around various animals (e.g., dogs, cats, birds, reptiles). Client demands and workload may occasionally necessitate more than 40 hours per week. This role may require special hours, including weekends, evenings, and/or holidays. Must possess the mental capacity to perform duties proficiently. The work environment may have a moderately high noise level. Job responsibilities require sufficient physical skills to perform necessary tasks, including the ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds. Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity are essential for using a keyboard and operating other equipment as needed. Hospital staff may encounter a variety of animals that may exhibit unpredictable behavior.
