Job Summary:

This is a professional role in the field of speech, language, and hearing. The successful candidate will provide testing and diagnostic services, plan treatment programs, and conduct individual or group therapy for individuals with auditory, speech, language, and related disabilities at a state-operated facility.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in communicology or a related field, with a focus on speech pathology and/or audiology. They will also possess a certificate of clinical competence from the Council of Professional Standards of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and/or licensure as required by state law or regulation for professional employment in public schools or approved private schools.

The role involves applying principles, methodology, and technical skills in the treatment of individuals with speech, language, hearing, and related disabilities. The successful candidate will work under the general direction of a professional or administrative supervisor, who will outline the scope and content of programs and review work through conferences and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide testing and diagnostic services for individuals with auditory, speech, language, and related disabilities
* Plan and implement treatment programs for individuals with speech, language, hearing, and related disabilities
* Conduct individual or group therapy sessions for individuals with speech, language, hearing, and related disabilities
* Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement programs for individuals with speech, language, hearing, and related disabilities

Requirements:

* Master's degree in communicology or a related field, with a focus on speech pathology and/or audiology
* Certificate of clinical competence from the Council of Professional Standards of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and/or licensure as required by state law or regulation for professional employment in public schools or approved private schools
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products

Working Conditions:

* Work is performed in a state-operated facility, with occasional travel to other locations
* May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
