Position Overview:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be integral in diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular issues alongside our experienced medical team. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including patient consultations, inpatient management, and participation in on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform thorough cardiovascular evaluations and assessments.
  2. Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of acute and chronic cardiology cases.
  3. Collaborate with physicians to formulate and execute treatment strategies.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  5. Prescribe necessary medications and educate patients on their health.
  6. Provide continuous patient support and follow-up care.
  7. Utilize specialized EMR systems tailored for cardiology to ensure precise patient documentation.
Qualifications:
  1. Valid Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care, ANP, FNP) or Physician Assistant licensure in the relevant state.
  2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  3. Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  5. Openness to learning and adapting to established protocols and procedures.
  6. Preferred minimum of one year of experience in a cardiology environment.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position that includes a blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. The schedule includes one weekend on-call every four weeks, with a compensatory half-day off the following Friday. Expect to manage an average of 13-16 patients in the hospital daily.
