Department Overview:
The Medical Unit is our largest department, featuring 42 modern and spacious rooms designed for patient comfort. Here, you will encounter a variety of patients, including those recovering from surgeries and those dealing with various health conditions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of patient care and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration rates, and blood pressure.
2. Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
3. Support nutritional needs by managing meal distribution and assisting with feeding as necessary.
4. Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and maintaining a clean patient environment.
5. Facilitate patient mobility and transport, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
6. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
7. Uphold infection control standards and safety measures throughout all tasks.

Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of a CNA training program is required; certification from the state is mandatory.
Experience:
While prior experience is preferred, it is not mandatory for applicants.
Licensure:
Current CNA certification and CPR/BLS certification are required.
