Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our practice full-time in Panama City, FL. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our team of physical therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities- Review patient health and medical histories, as well as physical therapist notes, to inform treatment decisions.
- Assist with implementing physical therapy treatment programs, including exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living.
- Provide patient education on the benefits of physical therapy, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
- Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- PTA License in Florida.
Full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday, 8am-1pm.
Compensation$24-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
