Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments and implement changes to care plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
  • Manage conflict and difficult situations in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
Requirements
  • Current valid Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice.
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
  • Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
