Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in maintaining a safe work environment and complete regular observations.
  • Inspect equipment for safety and ensure proper functioning.
  • Read and understand production orders to ensure accurate processing.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and manual handling equipment to move materials.
  • Package and trim materials, and move finished products to loading trucks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management.
  • Potential to learn responsibilities of Slitter Operator, Hemmer Operator, and/or Press Operator.
Requirements
  • Safety-oriented and team-focused individual.
  • Good customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, internet, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
  • Ability to read measuring gauges and tape measures.
  • Forklift and crane experience a plus, with ability to be trained.
  • Flexible with working overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours daily.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and in awkward positions.
  • Repetitive material handling and climbing on equipment.
  • Ability to work in varying and extreme weather conditions.
