  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring their progress aligns with educational goals.
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for students, promoting open communication and shared understanding of each child's progress.
  • Meticulously monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to maximize their growth and development.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable insights into student performance and contributing to the development of effective strategies for continued success.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Proven experience providing speech-language services within a school setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of educational best practices and the unique needs of students in this environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
