We are seeking a qualified English Instructor to join our team at Marist College. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in English, including foundational writing courses, introductory level literature, professional writing, and theatre courses.
Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate courses in English, including writing, literature, and theatre
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and school activities
- Master's degree in English, Writing, Theatre, or a closely related field
- Previous successful college-level teaching experience
- Doctorate or ABD preferred
- Experience teaching writing pedagogy
- Experience teaching literature courses
- Experience teaching theatre courses
