Pickleball Coach

Job Summary:

The City of Mentor is seeking an experienced Pickleball Instructor to work at the Mentor Community Recreation Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the enjoyment of Pickleball while teaching skill development and sportsmanship to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Pickleball classes to individuals and groups of various skill levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans to promote skill development and sportsmanship
• Provide excellent customer service to our members
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to promote a positive and inclusive environment
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in Pickleball instruction

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Previous experience as a Pickleball instructor or coach preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
