Signal Helper

Job Title: Signal Helper

We are seeking a skilled Signal Helper to join our team at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. As a Signal Helper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail systems.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the maintenance and repair of signal systems
* Perform routine inspections of signal equipment
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth rail operations

Requirements:

* One year of full-time experience as a Helper in the electrical, electronic, or electromechanical trade
* A vocational high school diploma or trade school certificate in the electrical or electronic field
* Valid Motor Vehicle Driver License
* Basic knowledge of electrical theory including Ohm's Law

Desired Skills:

* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
* Knowledge of Programmable Logic Computers (PLC)
