Position Overview

Kimberton Whole Foods Inc is seeking a Part-Time Grocery Stock Associate to enhance our grocery department.

Work Schedule: Evenings from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage to start.

Eligibility: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.

Employee Benefits: Part-time staff members are entitled to a 15% discount on store purchases after 60 days of employment, along with a 401K plan featuring a 3% employer match after one year and 1000 hours of service.

Key Responsibilities: The Grocery Stock Associate will be responsible for the following:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Receiving and organizing all dry goods, beverages, household items, and bulk products.
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation and handling of products in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the Grocery Department Head to maintain accurate product signage throughout the department.
  • Understanding and applying inventory management practices.
  • Assisting at the front end by efficiently scanning and bagging customer purchases.

Physical Requirements:

  • Full sensory capabilities (vision, hearing, and smell) to read labels, assess product quality, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift, grip, and carry items weighing up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to stoop, squat, and kneel to retrieve items from shelves and carts.
  • Mobility to walk short distances to transport items.
  • Prolonged standing during shifts.
  • Work environment involves continuous movement rather than sedentary tasks.
  • Ability to work in cooler environments and handle cold products for extended periods.
