Responsibilities:
As a healthcare support specialist, you will provide essential care to patients of various age groups and assist physicians and advanced practitioners within our healthcare network. This role is integral to our Advanced Team Care model in primary care.
Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience
Prior experience in a medical office is preferred but not mandatory.
We prioritize exceptional patient care and effective communication with both patients and medical staff.
Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail, and be comfortable using technology such as computers, faxes, and telephones.
Licensure/Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation before providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be maintained throughout employment.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
Compensation/Benefits
Hourly wage ranges from $13.74 to $22.44, depending on prior work experience.
