Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time instructional support assistant for our academic laboratory program in the Chemistry Department. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble laboratory setups with precision and efficiency
  • Monitor laboratory classes, working closely with faculty members to maintain adherence to procedures, safety protocols, and waste disposal guidelines
  • Prepare materials for laboratory sections, upholding the highest standards of quality and organization
  • Maintain the general safety and cleanliness of laboratory rooms, contributing to a productive and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • At least two years of experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in a similar setting
