Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide clinical treatment interventions, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans for patients in a correctional facility setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate levels of intervention, education, and counseling services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the biopsychosocial dimensions of patients, with a focus on solution-focused, attainable therapeutic goals.
- Provide individual, group, and couples therapy sessions to patients, as well as consult with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement transitional care plans, linking patients with community resources and services upon release.
- Document and evaluate patient progress, facilitating discharges and transfers as needed.
- Attend case conferences, trainings, and meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
- Valid MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
- Twelve months of experience in direct patient care in a public or private institution, with current clinical competencies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association.
- Competitive hourly rate of $68-$75, plus quarterly bonus.
- 40 hours of paid sick time.
- Weekly direct deposit payroll.
- Paid pre-employment testing.
