Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water-Based Activity Instructor who can develop and deliver effective instructional programs for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in various aquatic activities, including swimming, water aerobics, and other related exercises.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of physical fitness, be able to adapt to changing situations, and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

As a Group Exercise Aquatics Specialist, you will be responsible for leading group exercise classes, creating engaging lesson plans, and providing feedback to participants to help them achieve their fitness goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum one-year prior experience teaching or working in the area of Aquatic Instruction
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency
  • American Sports & Fitness Association (AFSA) Aqua fitness certification required
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
