Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage air export shipments, including booking cargo space and arranging pick-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and efficient export documentation.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation for customs clearance and cargo acceptance.
  • Facilitate customs clearance procedures for export shipments.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in freight forwarding or customs brokerage are advantageous. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics is required. Strong knowledge of air freight operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures is essential. Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with proficiency in using freight forwarding software and systems, are also necessary. Effective communication and negotiation abilities, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation and data entry are crucial. Certification from relevant industry organizations, such as IATA or FIATA, is preferred. Experience with perishable goods or hazardous materials handling in air freight is an advantage. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is also beneficial. Fluency in English (oral and written) is required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is necessary.
