Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Billings N 27th Walk In Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Utilize technology, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice to coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
- Prioritize and triage care delivery, implementing established standing orders and protocols as needed.
- Perform procedures and therapies consistent with training and licensure.
- Provide general nursing care to patients, following established standards and procedures.
- Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors.
- Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
- Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
- Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
- Tracks quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
This position requires regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts.
Physical RequirementsThis position requires ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
