A Typical Day as a Histology Technician:

  • Employ a microtome to create thin slices from tissue specimens.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory
  • Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) by ASCP is essential
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a histology technician role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
