About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Greater Columbus Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, responding to patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, optimizing patient satisfaction and provider time.
  • Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Assist patients as needed, providing support and guidance throughout their visit.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, reflecting the high standards of our practice.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with referring offices, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic office skills, including typing and filing.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
