Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent emergency experience, with a strong background in cardiac, complex med/surg, pediatric, and multiple trauma patients. You will be expected to demonstrate independent management of patients, with a focus on providing exceptional care and compassion to our patients and their families.

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Manage complex patient cases, including cardiac, med/surg, pediatric, and trauma patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency experience
• Strong background in cardiac, complex med/surg, pediatric, and multiple trauma patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification

• 1 year of EPIC experience
• Tele Interpretation, Ventilators, IV Insertion, and Nitric Oxide experience

3x12 variable shifts, with start and end dates flexible to meet the needs of the department
