About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our Telemetry Department plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. As a certified assistive person, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign measurements and documentation
  • Maintain a safe environment, including ensuring patient safety and security
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
  • Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred
