Job Description
As a RN Step Down, you will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Your duties will include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as necessary, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, reporting any changes or concerns to relevant parties.
  • Coordinate patient care activities with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current BLS and ACLS certifications, a current Registered Nurse License, and at least 2 years of experience in a PCU or ICU setting. You must also be able to effectively delegate patient care activities and possess strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary range is based on national averages for RN positions in Massachusetts and takes into account factors such as cost of living and industry standards.
