Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our next-generation customer web product, leveraging modern cloud-based infrastructure and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of back-end services in C#, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL Server, as well as front-end applications in React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster their growth and development.
  • Advocate for technical excellence by establishing best practices, conducting code reviews, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React.
  • Proficiency in API design and development, with cloud engineering and Azure services preferred.
  • Proven track record in building distributed microservices at scale, coupled with expertise in relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
