Orthopedic Care Specialist

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Care Specialist to join our dynamic team in Massachusetts. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our busy orthopedic spine surgeon in the OR and clinic.
Key Responsibilities• Conduct thorough physical exams, gather medical history, and record findings
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures, interpret data, and determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan
• Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
• Provide first assistant surgical duties, including tissue retraction and suturing
• Offer monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits
• Administer medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines
• Educate patients regarding health and illness prevention, surgical procedures, and expectations in the perioperative period
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.
Requirements• Board Certified PA
• Massachusetts licensure
• New grads welcome with orthopedic rotation
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
