Admissions Supervisor

At Spectrum Health Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admissions Supervisor to join our team. As an Admissions Supervisor, you will be responsible for the functioning of the Admissions department and the supervision of Admissions Coordinators.

• Collaborate with the admission staff and the Nursing team to ensure maintenance of the census for the facility.
• Schedule and process clients for admission to the facility.
• Conduct intakes in a respectful and courteous manner following established protocols for booking and scheduling clients.
• Ensure the safety of all programs and their clients and staff by completing thorough and respectful physical screenings of clients upon admission and complete belongings searches in compliance with established Spectrum Health Systems policy.
• Collaborate with the Nursing staff to ensure admissions are completed in a timely manner.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience can be substituted.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or customer service field preferred.
• Three years of experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, social, and writing skills.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
