Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

As a Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer at Masimo, you will be a key member of our R&D engineering team, contributing to the design and implementation of electronic hardware for our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design ownership and oversee the engineering lifecycle of hardware, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Perform and oversee hardware verification testing.
  • Develop electrical design calculations.
  • Project scheduling and estimation.
  • Define project performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members (ME, SW, PMO).

Requirements include:

  • Ability to describe electrical systems in a block diagram format and dive into details of each functional block.
  • Experience with electrical simulation software tools.
  • Ability to generate design-related documentation for project deliverables.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's Degree.
  • Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA office.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • RF Design/Testing experience.
  • Medical device or biomedical device background.
  • Multi-domain troubleshooting in Analog, Digital, and RF portions of designs.
  • Basic experience with Matlab.
