The successful candidate will possess 2-3 years of clinical experience, with gerontological nursing and dementia population knowledge preferred. A valid and current LPN/LVN state license is required.

Job Summary:

This part-time LPN position involves supervising nursing personnel and delivering direct care to residents. You will ensure that resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies, and federal, state, and local guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Physical demands: ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted on a frequent basis (occasionally up to 50 pounds, unassisted)
