**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishware Maintenance Associate to join our team at Georgia Blue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our dishware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the dishwashing area as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are handled carefully to prevent breakage or loss
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine when necessary
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster
  • Sweep and mop the floors regularly
  • Assemble and disassemble the dish machine as needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management

**Requirements:**

  • No previous restaurant experience required
  • Must be 16 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to follow verbal instructions and communicate clearly with managers and other staff members
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures

**Working Conditions:

  • Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • May be required to work additional hours as directed by the workload and staffing
  • Some exposure to smoke, steam, high temperature, and humidity

**Estimated Salary:** $12-$15 per hour, depending on location and experience
