Field Service Technician II

As a Field Service Technician II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our products and services. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong technical aptitude to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, software, network, and system malfunctions following established protocols.
- Executing repairs and maintenance on equipment to meet Canon's high standards.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of various product lines, including basic troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Delivering exceptional customer service by providing timely and accurate maintenance support, whether in the field, shop, or on-site.
- Keeping meticulous records of technical information, service reports, and company property assigned to you.
- Guiding and mentoring less experienced technicians by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Addressing escalated technical and customer service issues as needed.
This role requires a customer-oriented mindset and adherence to customer protocols, which may include health and safety measures. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- A foundational understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete necessary training programs.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as travel is a requirement.
- The flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on-call duties.
- The ability to obtain any necessary security clearances to access customer locations.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active for extended periods.
