Role Summary:

  • The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for providing both mechanical and electrical assistance to the Operations and Production teams. This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to improve reliability and efficiency. Additionally, mentoring junior staff members is a significant aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on production machinery and facilities.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and propose effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals for maintenance purposes.
  • Comply with safety regulations and report any concerns to management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Technician role.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proven reliability and adaptability in a work environment.
