About the Role

This position involves performing scheduled and routine preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems under contract agreement. The successful candidate will inspect, adjust, clean, and calibrate systems, ensuring they are in satisfactory working order. Additionally, this role requires completing maintenance within assigned labor load PM hours to reduce emergency calls and achieve the goal of zero call backs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems under contract agreement
  • Inspect, adjust, clean, and calibrate systems to ensure satisfactory working order
  • Complete maintenance within assigned labor load PM hours to minimize emergency calls
  • Assist with start-up of new equipment or system installation and make adjustments as needed
  • Plan schedules and lay out basic electrical equipment installation
  • Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits
  • Promote and maintain good customer relations, assisting with contract retention and seeking opportunities for change orders
  • Maintain company property and documentation in accordance with established policies, handle proprietary information properly, and adhere to Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. policies and procedures including all safety requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology
  • Attend and complete training programs as requested
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean, orderly, and professional vehicle image
  • Be available for a rotating emergency on-call schedule
Requirements
  • 2+ years' commercial experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes, IP Video or IT experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working in corrections facilities is highly desirable
