Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center, a full-service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides.
- Select and operate equipment, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
- Assist in equipment calibration and radioisotope assay operation.
- Perform clerical tasks, including inputting/editing exams and completion of requisition prior to sending study to radiologist.
- Assist physicians in performance or examinations by preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Radiology Technology preferred.
- Texas Medical Board-MRT license required.
- At least one year of full-time experience in clinical Nuclear Medicine imaging, including didactic experience preferred.
