Heavy Equipment Technician

**Job Summary**
Villani Landshapers is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by repairing, adjusting, and replacing major assemblies and components
- Work safely at all times in all conditions
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain an insurable driving record
- Ability to work safely at all times in all conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally load up to 100 lbs.
Desired Skills:
- Engine diagnosis and troubleshooting skills for gas and diesel engines
- Electrical systems knowledge for trucks, equipment, and trailers
- Welding skills and experience with small trailer repair
