Carpentry Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry / Grounds Shop Supervisor to join our team at Central State Hospital. As a key member of our Physical Plant Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.

• Supervise and manage a team of carpenters and grounds maintenance staff
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure the upkeep of our facilities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and effectively
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations

• Valid Virginia Driver's License
• Commercial experience as a carpenter
• Experience as a carpentry foreman or supervisor
• Knowledge of principles and practices of electrical and HVAC systems
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS software

• Experience as a carpentry foreman in a hospital setting
• Experience in carpentry in a hospital setting
