Job Summary

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Materials Management Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Starlink operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the supervision of hourly employees in our materials management organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of hourly employees to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for performance and safety
  • Monitor and improve operations to achieve industry-leading levels of customer service and inventory efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements
  • Manage the incoming acceptance, storage, and issuing of parts, details, and hardware into inventory
  • Develop and maintain service routes and material replenishments to deliver material to internal customers
  • Supervise local shipping and receiving operations, coordinating movements into and out of the local facility
  • Drive projects and changes that contribute to materials management's ongoing improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, or similar technical discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Organized and self-driven, capable of working independently with little direction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
