Job Description
As a Business Office Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining residents' and business office files in a secure and organized manner.
  • Assisting with billing issues, ensuring timely resolutions and clear communication with residents.
  • Maintaining the ancillary charge worksheet on a weekly basis, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring timely deposit of move-in deposits and rents, meeting financial obligations.
  • Preparing and sending monthly delinquent notices, following collection guidelines to recover outstanding amounts.
  • Processing resident lease renewal letters, facilitating smooth transitions and renewals.
  • Preparation and submission of accurate payroll reports to the corporate office by designated deadlines.
  • Maintenance of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Promoting confidentiality of proprietary, financial, and resident information at all times.
  • Monitoring and recording petty cash disbursements, reconciling and replenishing as needed.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or payroll administration.
  • An Associate's degree or higher is preferred, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with residents, guests, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software, with the ability to learn new systems easily.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work.
