Pediatrician Opportunity in Southern West Virginia

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pediatrician to join an established and well-respected practice in Southern West Virginia. The practice is located on the hospital campus, making it convenient for seeing patients in the hospital.
Practice Details- Current group consists of an experienced pediatrician and 2 nurse practitioners
- Light hospital call duties at one week per month
- Unassigned ED call is low, and the inpatient pediatric census ranges from 210 depending on the season
- Approximately 200 births per year, with the hospital operating a Level 1 Nursery
- Experience performing circumcisions is preferred but not required
The practice offers teaching and lecturing opportunities to rotating medical students and PAs. This is a great chance to build your own patient base and provide continuity of care from birth to adolescence in a relaxed, collegial environment.
LocationThe practice is located in Southern West Virginia, with easy access to Huntington and Charleston, WV, as well as Lexington and Columbus, OH. The location offers a great balance of work and personal life.
