Job Title: Registered Nurse - Post Surgical/Telemetry

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical/Telemetry team at North Central Surgical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Post Surgical/Telemetry will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery, as well as those requiring telemetry monitoring. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures, patient assessment, and critical thinking skills to prioritize patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Current Texas Nursing License
  • Current CPR certification and ACLS/PALS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 1-2 years of experience as an RN in a hospital MedSurg/Telemetry, Critical Care, Emergency, or ICU department
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
