Dishroom Attendant

Parkhurst Dining is a family-owned and operated company that provides culinary, dining and catering services to over 80 organizations and universities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a Dishroom Attendant, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning all dishes, silverware, and other items in accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run dishes and silverware through the dish machine following proper procedures.
• Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management.
• Keep the dish room clean at all times.
• Ensure a sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.
• Clean the dish machine after every meal.
• Sweep and mop the dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty the mop bucket.
• De-lime the dish machine once a week.
• Scrub and soak all stained cups weekly.
• Exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals.
• Follow the cleaning schedule as provided by management, using "clean as you go" techniques.
• Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
• Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
• Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
• Assist fellow associates at every opportunity.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
