Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Women's Health Nurse to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to women and families in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women and families, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in women's health or obstetrics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
