PRN Opportunities Available on 7am-3pm and 8pm-4am Shifts
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Housekeeping role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, ensuring that the highest standards of care are upheld consistently. This position requires collaboration with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely, while prioritizing quality resident care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute fundamental housekeeping tasks for residents as needed.
- Notify supervisors of any unsafe conditions, malfunctioning equipment, or necessary maintenance.
- Regularly clean and disinfect all areas.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Dispose of waste and regularly clean trash containers.
- Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule as instructed.
- Organize and maintain stock and supply areas.
- Secure all cleaning supplies during shifts, breaks, and at the end of the day.
- Sanitize resident rooms following discharges.
- Implement isolation room cleaning procedures as per infection control guidelines.
- Assist with stripping beds and linens for laundering as required.
- Participate in scheduled training and educational programs to enhance care quality.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with established departmental and corporate policies, objectives, and safety standards.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
